Welcome to the Martha Kidd Foundation
The Martha Kidd Foundation is a non-profit organization created in memory of our friend, Martha Jo Kidd, in order that her passion for life and her unquenchable thirst for knowledge lives on through the hearts and minds of those less fortunate by providing educational scholarships as well as providing grants for community improvement projects and outreach services in Cincinnati’s urban areas.
In 2005, the Martha Kidd Foundation was born out of the grief of losing a dear friend who truly inspired with her tenacity to better not only herself but also those around her and her community. We hoped to keep that spirit alive through helping others improve their own lives and their communities as well. We also hoped to be able to show young girls how sports could build self-esteem and teach camaraderie and the benefits of teamwork. Throughout that time, you have consistently and generously come through to make those hopes realities. And we hope that you don’t underestimate our gratitude or the gratitude of each and every student and organization that the MKF has been able to help. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to all of you as we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.
Night to Remember XI
On Saturday, March 12th we will be holding our 11th Annual Night to Remember benefit at Below Zero Lounge. Each year we host this gala to raise the money that allows us to pay it forward through the scholarships and grants we award. Please mark your 2016 calendars now, so you don't miss out on the wonderful food catered by Jeff Thomas Catering, the fabulous entertainment, great auction and raffle items, and chance to reunite with friends old and new for a truly worthy cause.
